Over 20 specially curated drives replicating all different shooting scenarios from across the world, using state of the art custom-built traps.

The Lodge
Situated in the heart of the Cranborne Chase, area of outstanding natural beauty, surrounded by rolling chalk downs and open arable fields. Nature and tranquillity in every corner, this property is the epitome of secluded luxury. All nine bedrooms have their own unique charm and classic furnishing.
The traditional red brick country lodge sits within the heart of the estate with views across the garden and down the valley. The culinary and sporting experiences on offer are inspired by the undulating valleys and the property’s very own deer park.

Outline Of Your Stay
First Day
Guests are welcome to arrive from 4:30pm onwards at the lodge, to settle in and make full use of the facilities.
Drinks and canapes, which are curated in house are served on the terrace with guests then being seated for dinner in the dinning room.
Second day
A gentler start to that of a normal shoot day with guests meeting in the dinning room for a full cooked and continental breakfast.
After a safety briefing will be given, guns introduced to loaders then departing for the first of four drives.
After the second drive guns and guests will enjoy outstanding elevenses and a selection of drinks overlooking the beautiful grounds of the estate. Lunch will be taken lakeside in the WildKitchen, for a true unforgettable dinning experience
To finish the day guests will enjoy tea and cake back in the comforts of the lodge.

Location Details
Situated in the heart of the Cranborne Chase National Landscape, the estate offers a taste of true British countryside. The tradition country lodge is a short drive from the market town of Shaftesbury and costal the country-town of Taunton (16miles), which offers a train service to London Paddington in under two-hours.
The Ashcombe estate is a true destination in itself, the area is also known for beautiful chalk rolling hills and rural landscapes. Beautiful coastal towns and New Forest National Park can also be reached in under an hour.
